This list of exercise equipment recalls is by no means meant to deter anyone from buying or using these products. This list is also not here for you to check and see what you should avoid buying. This list is here for you to check and make sure that if your exercise equipment is recalled, you can do something about it.
There are numerous reasons for a product to end up on this list and the remedies for the problem are an indicator of the severity. There are even cases where the fix is to update instructions or make minor changes. It is often voluntary by the company to avoid frivolous lawsuits. We are in that sort of day and age.
If nothing else this list could arm you with some knowledge if you are set on buying a used piece of equipment from somebody.
